Highly reliable copper-sulphate reference electrode of Lider type (EMS - 3M)

Purpose

EMS – 3 highly reliable copper-sulphate reference electrode of Lider type, hereinafter referred to as the Electrode, is used to measure the polarization potential and underground construction potential with the reference to the electrode. This is done by creating the electrolytic contact with the ground in the circuits. The purpose is to check the efficiency of the corrosion prevention system in the underground metal constructions.

The Electrodes provide reliable and uninterrupted performance in all macroclimatic zones in the context of the following climatic factors:

• 1. maximum operating ambient temperature – + 45⁰C;
• 2. minimum operating ambient temperature – – 40⁰C;
• 3. maximum relative humidity – 100 % at 35⁰C.

The Electrodes are placed in soil with the conductors running to a test station or a cover. Alternatively, the Electrodes can be portable.

The Electrodes compile with the technical conditions TU 3435-004-35200103-2014, GOST R 51164, GOST 9.602 and with the engineering documents.
